Two Hole Lentil Beads, which are pressed glass beads made in the Czech Republic, are another example of beadmaking ingenuity. These CzechMates are the same size and shape as their precursors, One Hole Lentils, with the exception that they have two holes. These holes make them look a little bit like a small button. Two Hole Lentils are 6 mm in diameter and have a slightly domed surface. The holes are big enough for multiple passes of fine beading thread. At Eureka Crystal Beads we carry a large selection of both - One Hole Lentils, which can be used for drops, or scale-like effect, and Two Hole Lentils which are ideal for multi-dimentional designs. 2- Hole Lentils are sold on strands of 50 pieces.
