The Idea Behind the Collections

A Eureka Collection is a hand-curated, color-coordinated assortment of premium beading supplies assembled by Eureka's in-house designers—and sometimes our designer friends—around a theme and an inspiration photo. Each Collection includes a carefully selected mix of Japanese and/or Czech seed beads (Miyuki, TOHO, and Preciosa Ornela), Czech glass beads, crystal beads and stones, findings, and more, all picked to work together beautifully right out of the box.

Every Collection ships with a printed inspiration photo that shows the palette and mood behind the selection, plus a printed product list with every item numbered and labeled with its SKU. That means you can look up any bead you love and reorder it directly from the Eureka Crystal Beads website.

The palette isn't the only thing that has been thought through, though. The bead types, shapes, and sizes have been chosen to complement each other and work across multiple different jewelry projects. You're not getting a random grab bag of pretty things! What's Actually Inside?

A Collection contains from 16-22 individual products in a LITE Collection, to 20-28 products in a main Collection, spanning seed beads in multiple sizes and shapes, Czech glass beads, crystal stones and beads, and a set of matching findings: clasps, buttons, ear wires, charms, jump rings and inspiring metal elements you’ve never seen before. We often include custom-made seed bead mixes, crystal bead mixes and crystal stone accent mixes blended especially for a particular Collection. Among the brands we usually feature in our Collections are: TOHO, Miyuki and Preciosa Ornela seed beads; Matubo, Czech Mates and Firepolish Czech glass beads; Krakovski Crystal, ELITE Eureka Crystal, and PRECIOSA Crystal; or GleamCraft and TierraCast Findings.

When to Expect New Collections

Intrigued by the idea of color-matched, ready-to-create beading supplies delivered to your door? Well, you won’t have to wait long, because we release new Collections every month!

Our main Collections launch on the first Thursday of each month, with exceptions we always inform about in our email newsletter. LITE Collections launch on Mondays around the middle of the month, which typically falls 11 days after the main Collection of the month. LITEs are smaller and more focused than the main Collections, usually contain fewer products, and are priced lower, making them a great entry point. Each LITE Collection is designed to contrast and complement the main Collection of the same month, but it is also entirely self-contained, with enough supplies for at least 2-3 projects.

The Color Matching Is Already Done for You

One of the biggest challenges in beading—especially when you're newer to it—is color matching. Picking a seed bead in the right color and finish that will look good next to a particular crystal stone is not always as obvious as it seems. Colors shift depending on finish, size, and the materials around them. Getting it right takes experience and time.

With a Eureka Collection, that work has already been done. Every bead, stone, and finding in a Collection has been chosen with the whole palette and potential projects in mind. You can open the box, lay everything out, and start designing immediately, without second-guessing whether the colors and finishes will work. They will.

Tutorials From Eureka and Designer Friends Included

Each Collection comes with multiple free beading tutorials, appearing in the week of the launch and the following weeks, so you have ready-made projects to try with your new supplies. Main Collections are paired with tutorials from Eureka's own designers as well as from popular beading YouTubers and designers like Stephanie of Bronzepony Beaded Jewelry and Gina of Orchid and Opal Jewelry & Beads. LITE Collections have their own tutorial support too, with Eureka projects as well as tutorials from designers like Sherry of The Little Beading Closet and Juliet of Jules & Rose, all available on YouTube.

That means you can pick up a Collection with zero project ideas in mind, watch a tutorial, and have a beautiful finished piece within a few hours. Or you can use the tutorials as a jumping-off point for your own designs, letting the palette and the inspiration photo take you somewhere entirely your own.

Unique & Limited, Not a Subscription

Another special thing about Eureka Collections is that they are limited. We make them in a set quantity, and once they sell out, they're gone. We do occasionally restock particularly popular ones, so if you miss a Collection you had your eye on, it's worth hitting the "Notify Me" on the product page so we can email you if it comes back. And if you just want to browse what we've done in the past, all our retired Collections live in the Collections Archive—a great place to get lost in palettes and find some inspiration.

Crucially, our Collections are not a subscription. You buy whichever ones appeal to you, when they appeal to you. There is no commitment, no automatic renewal, no monthly charge. If one month's palette doesn't speak to you, quite simply you skip it. If you fall head over heels in love with a particular Collection, you can also get as many of it as you please! The whole point is that each Collection stands on its own as something worth having, and you get the freedom to pick and choose.
