OH YES! Cabochons are as elegant as they sound. The shape cabochon (KAB-oh-shon) refers to a piece of gemstone or glass which has been shaped and polished instead of faceted. 2-Hole Cabochon Beads are part of a multi-hole CzechMates Bead System. Such beads as these feature a domed front surface and a flat back. Unlike traditional cabochons, these have two parallel holes spaced about 2 mm apart from each other running close to the flat bottom of the dome. They work nicely in multi-strand projects and bead weaving. Cabochon CzechMates are 6.5 mm across and about 5 mm tall. We sell them by 2.5 inch tubes, approximately 20 beads.
