Looking to buy the highest quality glass seed beads? Look no further! The majority of the best seed beads are made in Japan and the Czech Republic. Japanese seed beads come from two large scale manufacturers TOHO and Miyuki and each brand has slight differences so we've divided them out below for your shopping convenience. Seed beads have a large hole in relation to their size allowing for multiple passes of thread or wire. We carry a variety of shapes including popular round seed beads, cylindrical seed beads, doughnut seed beads, square seed beads, rectangular seed beads, tube seed beads and drop shaped seed beads in a variety of sizes. Get the Perfect Seed Beads for Making Jewelry

If you're looking for an affordable way to make beautiful jewelry, look no further than seed beads! ‘Seed bead’ is a generic term for very small beads made of glass that can be used to make beautiful jewelry and other handicraft projects. As the name implies, these beads are very small, ranging from just over 1mm to around 4mm in size. Seed beads are sized using what is called ‘aught sizing’ so you will see them labeled as 11/0, 15/0, or sometimes styled with a little degree symbol. These sizes are pronounced ‘eleven-oh’ or ‘fifteen-oh.’ Traditionally, these numbers indicated how many beads could fit side by side in one inch so the larger the number, the smaller the bead. You will find that despite being labeled as the same size and shape, different brands may have slightly different sizes.
